Support Available is a visually dynamic and emotionally driven short film that explores themes of inaccessibility and the importance of friendship and community in the face of hardship. It is a predominantly 2D animated short film with 3D mixed media elements created as a 3rd Year Graduate project by Jessica Wilcock, Jennifer Payne and Leonardo Delazzer who studied on the BA (Hons) Animation Course. Support Available has also been in multiple film festivals as an official selection!

Synopsis:

In the future, the government replaces the healthcare system with a money- saving alternative: a vending machine that requires an item from the patient that's of equal value to their medical needs.

A young transgender boy hears about the machine and goes to seek its assistance. We follow him in his never-ending quest to find an item with a worth equal to his need for gender affirming care.
